The Spinal Decompression Institute is where hundreds of pain sufferers throughout the Danville area have already ended their chronic back pain, permanently, without drugs or surgery.
Spinal decompression therapy is FDA cleared and has a high success rate for pain associated with herniated or bulging discs...even after failed surgery. It is a non-surgical, traction based therapy for the relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain. During this procedure, by cycling through distraction and relaxation phases and by proper positioning, a spinal disc can be isolated and placed under negative pressure, causing a vacuum effect within it.
During spinal decompression therapy, a negative pressure is created within the disc. Because of that negative pressure, disc material that has protruded or herniated can be pulled back within the normal confines of the disc, and permit healing to occur.

One study documented by MRI up to 90% reduction of disc herniations in 10 of 14 cases and other studies reported that the majority of ruptured disc patients achieved "good" to "excellent" results after spinal decompression therapy.
Spinal decompression therapy is not recommended for pregnant women, patients who have severe osteoporosis, severe obesity or severe nerve damage. Spinal surgery with instrumentation (screws, metal plates or “cages”) is also contraindicated. However, spinal decompression therapy after bone fusion or non-fusion surgery, can be performed
If you've been suffering from chronic pain in your lower back and/or leg you know how frustrating it can be to get the help you need to end your pain and suffering.
But there's good news! We can probably help...

You see, most patients we see at the Spinal Decompression Institute have already seen several doctors and specialists, tried bed rest, a variety of strong drugs, chiropractic, physical therapy and many, sad to say, surgery. They come to us because they're still in pain... Many close to losing hope because even after all the consultations, tests and treatments they've been through, they still don't feel like they used to--and nobody and nothing seems to be able to really help.
In almost all cases, the treatments are completely painless. In fact, some patients fall asleep during the spinal decompression session. The number of sessions needed and your specific treatment plan will be determined by the doctor after your examination.
If this describes you, a friend, or a loved one, we're here to tell you that you can get better. You can leave the burning, stabbing, and constant pain behind. And after a few short weeks, you can begin to get on with the rest of your life.
For people with low back pain, the advice on gaining relief has long been to take it easy and rest your back. If you suffer from chronic lower back pain and want any kind of "normal" life, you know the advice is unrealistic and doesn't work.
To reduce inflammation and assist the healing process, supporting structures are treated with passive therapies (ice/heat/muscle stimulation), chiropractic adjustments (as indicated) and/or active rehabilitation in order to strengthen the spinal musculature.
There's nothing like the Spinal Decompression Institute anywhere else in Danville!
The Spinal Decompression Institute takes a radically different approach. After years of tentatively guarding their backs for fear of pain and further injury, back pain patients who can barely walk, stand or sit are guided through a comprehensive treatment program that help them stretch their backs with VAX-D technology, and strengthen their back muscles with Spine Force technology.
Those who have gone through our exclusive treatment program call it miraculous.
We want to make it easy for you to learn if you are a candidate for spinal decompression therapy. Just call our office to arrange a consultation with one of our doctors. Please remember to bring any MRI reports so the doctor can review them and best advise you about your treatment options.
